Situated approximately 190 kilometers or a three hour drive north-west of Sydney, between the Gardens of Stone National Park to the north, and Wollemi National Park to the east, both part of the Greater Blue Mountains World Heritage area. The closest township is Lithgow, 35 kilometers to the south.
The Wolgan Valley Resort & Spa is the first Emirates resort in Australia. It is set on 4000 acres of land, with the property only utilizing 2% of this area. The remainder being conservation reserve.
